about the founder

I have grown up with an interest in child development. All my family work within education, my mother is a qualified psychologist, and my brother works with difficult children in the inner cities.

So when I said I wanted a career working with children my family were adamant that only the best training would do; subsequently I went for an interview and was offered a place to train at the Norland College.

On completion of my two years training and twelve month probationary year, I was awarded the Norland Diploma with merit.

I have been working as a nanny in family homes both in the UK and abroad since I finished my training. I have encountered numerous situations needing me to rely on all of my training and life skills as well!

This has given me the opportunities to develop the skills required in order to talk to family members sensitively and constructively in order to resolve a very wide range of matters in a variety of households.

I also find that as a nanny, you get asked for advice in the most bizarre of circumstances! I had to have a tooth removed recently and mid extraction the dentist stopped to ask me a childcare related question!

For these reasons I have decided that my services as a source knowledge would benefit many (and maybe I could bill my dentist next time!)
